Smoky is looking for a home. He was found as a stray by a concerned animal lover who has been working with him for the past few weeks to help him overcome his shyness. He is now a snuggly little teddy bear who loves to be held and have his chin rubbed! Smoky is around 12 weeks old and has been neutered. He is ready to move in with his forever family today!

Meet Griffin, the latest little guy to join our foster program. Griffin was found as a stray and is still very shy. I will be posting updates on him over the next few weeks.
My first blog post - how exciting!
I decided to use my blog to help shine a spotlight on some of the many animals in our community who are looking for a home. The first animal to be featured is Maya, one of my foster cats. Maya and her sister were brought to a local shelter with 5 kittens as their owner was unable to care for them. Initially shy and nervous of people, she has since come out of her shell and turned out to be a very cool little cat. She will now jump up on the sofa beside me and wait for a tummy rub! Maya gets along well with other cats. She would probably do best in a calm home without young children and would be fine as an only cat. Maya is in Keller, Texas.
