|
After obtaining a Masters degree in modern languages - French and German- from Edinburgh University in Scotland, I completed a post-graduate diploma in European Marketing and Languages. In 1991 I moved to Canada to study Commercial Photography at Dawson Institute of Photography in Montreal and 3 years ago I moved to Keller, Texas. Initially my main interests were portraiture and travel photography until the day I adopted two beautiful ginger tabbies, Hamish and Angus. Since then, my passion and focus has been animal photography, primarily cats and dogs. I enjoy shooting in a variety of environments, both indoors and outdoors. One of my first projects was providing photographs for the calendar of the Montreal SPCA. I now work with a variety of magazine and book publishers including Cat Fancy, I Love Cats, Dog Fancy, Dogs in Canada, D/FW Dog, Pet Product News International and Capstone Press. Last year my first book , 'Mewsings', was published by Willow Creek Press. 2 years ago I co-founded the group, Animal Advocates of North Texas ( AANT). The group assists rescue groups and shelters find homes for their adoptable pets and provides assistance to animals in need. For more information, please visit our website at www.A-A-N-T.org |
